Soma is a voice-driven augmented reality application designed to seamlessly embed soothing natural phenomena and life forms into users' daily routines. By fostering relaxation and a sense of coziness through meteorological events, minerals and flora, soma invites users to craft and immerse themselves in three unique sonic biomes. Whether exploring the cozy tundra, the soothing desert or the cleansing rainforest, users are prompted with collection-making tasks that both serve as gateways into relaxation and anchors for an ever-evolving calming habit. By the end of each sonic journey, determined at the user's discretion, a unique soundtrack is generated. The user may save these soundtracks as well as add personal thoughts to them in a journal-like format, creating an archive of their relaxing experiences that can be revisited at any time. Ultimately, soma offers a novel way to interact with everyday life, encouraging an embrace of tranquil mental states that are inspired by the ecosystems of our planet.
