Senseï Watch

This watch design project is rooted in an inclusive and deeply human approach. Its goal is to create a high-quality timepiece designed for people who are visually impaired or blind—a group still too often overlooked in the world of watchmaking, especially when it comes to products that are functional, aesthetic, and high-end. The core idea is simple: to offer an alternative that combines accessibility, innovation, and elegance, while respecting the traditions of classic watchmaking. A watch that compromises neither design nor precision, and that embraces the specific needs of its users. The launch date has been carefully chosen. The project will be unveiled in 2025, a year rich in symbolism, as it marks the bicentenary of the invention of braille by Louis Braille in 1825. This anniversary adds a special dimension to the project, paying tribute to an invention that changed the way millions of people perceive and interact with the world. But beyond the object itself, this project has turned into a truly human adventure. It has been shaped by valuable conversations with people affected by blindness, whose insights guided every step of the design process. These encounters brought a strong emotional and ethical dimension to the work, transforming the creation process into a meaningful journey—one filled with listening, doubt, adjustments… and a great deal of enthusiasm. In short, this project promotes a vision of design that is committed and mindful, where the object is not an end in itself, but a bridge between people, uses, and stories.
